The amount of food we've flown in from other countries has increased by 50%, and the amount of food we've driven in from Europe has increased by 90%.

By the time most food arrives on our plate these days it’s tired, jetlagged food. It’s lost quality, nutrients and flavour, and emitted 3 – 10 times its own weight in CO2 on the way.
