Sooner or later there will need to be fewer aeroplanes in the sky (flights are one of our fastest growing sources of CO2 emissions and we’re committed to reducing our emissions a lot).
That means that our flights will become more expensive and, unless you’re very rich, we’ll fly less often.
Let’s make sure that as planes get more expensive, trains get cheaper.
If climate change = staying at home more, well, pants to that.
If climate change = more relaxing journeys / strange encounters /
amazing views / hot breakfasts on sleeper trains, does that sound better?
As the cost of flying goes up, money will be made.
